Pong Codan Rubber (M) Sdn. Bhd. was established in 1988 and specializes in manufacturing Sealing System, Shape Hoses, TPV Profiles and Technical Moulded Parts for the automotive OEM industry. Pong Codan Rubber is associated with Pongpara Codan Rubber Co. Ltd. (Thailand) with more than 40 years of experience provided the technical assistance and expertise. We also have a collaboration with Toyoda Gosei (Japan) to produce a vast range of weather strips and hoses with their latest award winning rubber technology.
Pong Codan Rubber produces a wide range of high quality automotive rubber products to cater the ever evolving automotive industry. Our research & development, quality control and testing are conducted with only the state-of-the-art technology in accordance to international standard therefore able to deliver the highest grade of rubber products.
The company has achieved the EMS ISO 14001 and QMS IATF 16949 certification. |
PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES & CAPACITY
The Pong Codan Rubber manufacturing facility is fully equipped with best machines complete for various production stages from rubber compound mixing, extrusion process, injection to precision technical parts moulding. With the high tech machinery and our unique production techniques, we are consistent in delivering rubber products which meet our customers’ ever increasing requirements.
We are constantly improving our production systems which include synchronized manufacturing system, automated production line, continuous work flow concept and flexible work cells to minimize cost and increase the production capability. Pong Codan Rubber aims is to deliver excellent customer satisfaction at a competitive price.
Pong Codan Rubber has vastly expanded over the years and now has 5 manufacturing plants with total of more than 120,000 square meter in Malaysia. Our company’s assured Quality Product is not only in demand locally but also currently exported to OEM all over the world. |

QUALITY ASSURANCE
Pong Codan Rubber utilizes the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) concept which emphasises on the control of material, production processes, tooling and capacities from very early stage of production. Customers’ with the most highest standards can be assured of Pong Codan Rubber’s quality assurance.
Pong Codan Rubber uses special rubber compounds which are specially formulated to make parts with high physical property and long lasting. This is to provide best sealing, vibration and noise absorption. These materials have been tested and fine tune in the field for many years and have receive approval from most global OEM.
Pong Codan Rubber also conducts regular testing and inspection such as curing process verification, temperature, time and other variable parameters. These tests and inspections are to ensure the consistency of product quality and also to meet our high internal SPC standards.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Pong Codan Rubber possesses in-house capability to design and develop specific rubber products to meet the most discerning customer requirements. From design stage to rapid product prototyping using 3D printing, our highly skilled Engineers are able to customize rubber parts according to customers’ specifications within short lead-time.
With our in-house tool making facility we are able to design and manufacture the mass production tooling cost effectively with superior production capability and efficiency.
All products are then tested comprehensively to meet customers’ requirements before commencing mass production and complies with most global standard ie JIS, ASTM and/or SAE standards. Pong Codan Rubber is committed to deliver the ultimate service and best rubber products to its OEM customers.
Our products are made with the best raw material, therefore our products give better sealing and outstanding characteristics in respect of ozone resistance, flex cracking resistance, abrasion, heat resistance and also good resistance against solvents. |
